Burger King

Terrible service, they scammed us with non Romerquelle waters, after we told them we order Romerquelle and not some cheap low quality water. They said they run out and asked if they should call manager, after we told them yeah ofc, they magically brought us Romerquelle from the back. So they are scammers. On top of that they didn’t manage to finish order according to instructions and food wasn’t very high quality. Throughout staff kept negative vibe as if we as customers have done something wrong for calling them out.

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding my recent visit to the Burger King outlet in Parndorf, Austria, on December 30th. As a tourist from South Korea, I visited the Pandorf Burger King at approximately 2:50 pm and ordered a Whopperburger set, costing 10.5 euros, which I paid in cash. Shortly after the transaction, I remembered having a 2.5 euro discount voucher for the outlet. I promptly inquired with the female employee if the price could be recalculated with the discount. Unfortunately, I was informed that it was not possible due to the lateness of the request – maximum 5 second lateness. This response surprised me, as in my extensive travels to over 40 countries, I have generally found it common practice to cancel a payment and recalculate with a discount, especially when there is no one waiting in line. Despite this, I asked if a refund was possible, and the employee confirmed. At that time a man who appeared to be a manager came by, at which point the female employee explained the situation to him by Austria Language. After listening her explanation, The manager asked me “ Are you kidding??”, which makes me super surprised. Then I again asked if a refund and recalculation with the coupon were possible, and this time I was flatly denied. What he said was only refund is possible option I can choose. Feeling disheartened and no longer in the mood to dine at that restaurant, I opted for a refund and left the premises. Both employees said to me "BYE", and I decided to have lunch at a nearby McDonald's. Having visited many Burger King outlets around the world, I must admit that the customer service at Burger King in Austria, especially in Pandorf, seems markedly different. While I respect local practices, I found the response from the employees confusing and disappointing. Firstly, the inconsistency between allowing a refund but refusing to recalculate with the voucher discount perplexes me. It seems illogical and leaves me questioning the difficulty in recalculating the cost after applying the discount. Secondly, the gestures and words used by the staff, such as "Are you kidding?" during the conversation, were quite unsettling. As a loyal Burger King fan, this was an unexpected and unpleasant experience. Regrettably, due to the disappointing customer service at the Pandorf Burger King, I have decided to patronize McDonald's and other restaurants that consistently provide better customer service. In conclusion, I bid farewell to Burger King with a heavy heart, hoping for better experiences at other establishments. BYE BURGERKING

16.08.2023. Unfortunately, my experience with the Burger King restaurant in Pandorf was not positive. The staff were extremely unfriendly, and I felt that their communication with customers was lacking. Moreover, they were speaking Hungarian among themselves in front of people who didn't understand the language, and it seemed like they were taking advantage of this. I believe that a friendly and helpful attitude, as well as open communication with every guest, regardless of the language they speak, are fundamental in a restaurant. I had hoped that an international chain would pay more attention to this aspect. Thank you for your attention.
